Prince of Mburubu Releases Funeral Rites For mother, HRM Queen Nwakaego Josephine Ezeh

Abuja, NIGERIA — The royal family of His Majesty Late Igwe E. M. O Ezeh, Ozulumba I of Mburubu community, has announced the burial rites for the Queen of Mburubu Kingdom, HRM Nwakaego Josephine Ezeh.

Announcing the funeral and memorial plans, yesterday at Palace, the son, Engr Prince Lawrence Ezeh, PhD, (Prince of Mburubu Kingdom) said the family has scheduled Friday, May 3 for the funeral service to be held at Mburubu Community Primary School Field before internment at the Palace.

The funeral rites for the Queen, as announced to the press showed that the burial ceremony will begin on May 2nd, through May 5th, 2024

Thursday, May 2, 2024 — Night of Tributes/ Christian Wake-Keeping at Igwe EMO Ezeh Palace (6:00 pm)

Friday, May 3, 2024 — Combined Funeral Service at Mburubu Community Primary School Field (10:00 am) followed by Private Interment at the Palace by 12 noon.

Saturday May 4, 2024 — Condolences by friends and in-laws will continue

Sunday, May 5, 2024 — Outing Service at St. John Catholic Church Mburubu (10:00 am)

Prince Ezeh who is also the Enugu State Commissioner for Science Innovation and Technology, while making the announcement, said though it was a sad reality, the family took heart in the knowledge that the Queen had lived a good life and left legacies that will continue to serve as templates for them to live.

The prince described his mother as a woman of God who gave her children the best love and education. He said he never believed that, two year after the demise of their father, their mother would also die, but said that he won’t question God, the creator of everything on earth.

Meanwhile condolence books have been opened at the Palace and the private residence of Prince of Mburubu between 8.00am and 6.00pm every day until the funeral.
