If Kemi Badenoch carries on like this, she’ll be elected Prime Minister

Abuja, NIGERIA — Julius Abure has been ousted as the National Chairman of the Labour Party, according to a statement issued by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Political Commission. The announcement, signed by Secretary Comrade Chris Uyot, comes in the wake of nationwide picketing and the occupation of Labour Party offices.

The NLC accused Abure of evading accountability and resorting to cowardice in the face of mounting allegations against him. Describing his actions as “rascality, incompetence, and treachery,” the commission asserted that Abure’s tenure as chairman has come to an end.

Amidst claims by Abure of theft and misconduct during the takeover of Labour Party offices, the NLC refuted these allegations, asserting that the reclaiming of party premises was witnessed by law enforcement officers and journalists. The commission condemned Abure’s attempts to discredit the NLC and vowed to pursue legal action against him for defamation.

Emphasizing their commitment to cleansing and revitalizing the Labour Party, the NLC asserted that there is no turning back from this decision. They called on Abure to face the consequences of his actions and urged supporters to distance themselves from him.
