Abuja, NIGERIA — As Nigeria celebrated its independence, HIGH CHIEF AMB. Dr. Usman Ahmed Abdul-Dimka marked a personal milestone with a heartwarming gesture of charity. Turning 54 on the same day that the nation commemorated its sovereignty, Dr. Abdul-Dimka chose to honor this dual significance by dedicating his birthday to serving the community.

With the support of the Pzafaama Helping Hand Foundation (PHHF), Dr. Abdul-Dimka organized a feeding program that reached hundreds of residents in Abuja and its surrounding suburbs. The event, themed “Feeding Hope,” aimed at alleviating hunger among vulnerable communities, showcasing Abdul-Dimka’s commitment to public service not just in his capacity as a chief and ambassador but also as a compassionate member of society.

Early in the morning, volunteers from PHHF and local community members gathered at designated locations. The streets of Abuja buzzed with energy as they prepared to distribute warm meals to those in need. Dr. Abdul-Dimka, visibly moved by the participation and enthusiasm of the volunteers, expressed his gratitude for their support in making the day a success. “This is not just a celebration of my life, but a celebration of what we can accomplish together as a community,” he remarked, underscoring the importance of unity and compassion.

Throughout the day, the team engaged with beneficiaries, providing meals and essentials while also sharing words of encouragement. Many residents expressed their gratitude, as the initiative not only offered sustenance but also hope and solidarity. “It’s a blessing to have High Chief Amb. Dr. Abdul-Dimka in our community. His commitment to helping others is inspiring,” said one local resident.

This initiative is part of Dr. Abdul-Dimka’s broader mission to create positive social change through service and philanthropy. As the King Grip Rong Community (Garkuwa) and the Nhik Chin of Kabwir District (Shield & Protector), he has been a staunch advocate for community engagement, launching various programs aimed at fostering trust and collaboration between leaders and civilians.

As the sun set on October 1, High Chief Amb. Dr. Usman Ahmed Abdul-Dimka reflected on his birthday with satisfaction, knowing that he had transformed a personal celebration into a meaningful act of kindness. The day was a reminder that while independence is essential for a nation, the true spirit of freedom flourishes through acts of generosity and togetherness.

Dr. Abdul-Dimka plans to continue his philanthropic efforts, championing more initiatives that enhance the lives of the underserved within Nigeria.
