PROVOST COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ASABA BAGS MEDIA AWARD

The Provost of the Federal College of Education Technical Asaba, Delta State, Dr. Josephine Anene Okeakwa, has received a prestigious media award by the National Association of Community Newspapers, Delta State.

The award was presented to her at the Council Chamber of the College on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

The Provost has a rich and extensive career portfolio – one that clearly puts her ahead of the pack in the educational sector.

So far, her works as the Provost of the College has earned her several awards in recent time as she has maintained high academic excellence.

The award, according to the Chairman of the association, Comrade Patrick Ochei, was to acknowledge her leadership contributions in respect of town and town, social justice, entrepreneurship works, as well as the rapid development that has been taking place in the college since her assumption of office as Provost of the College.

.           Ochei said: “The great thing about these awards given by our association is the fact they are drawn from individuals who have all been nominated by members of the community for a range of outstanding achievements. It’s important for us to celebrate these achievements,

Receiving the Award, the provost said she was thrilled by the recognition and assured she will leave no storm unturned to ensure that the College assumed the status of the best College of Education in Nigeria and Africa. She dedicated the award to God Almighty, and to every of her staff and students of the college.
