Criteria

Thank you for considering a nomination for AFRICA 100 Awards

Award winner will be recognized at an annual recognition event on July 21, 2023, and receive crystal plaque, gold-plated medal and certificate.

Please review the following selection criteria before beginning the nomination process. Nomination packages must be submitted by July 2, 2023.

Recipients will have met a number of the following criteria:

  1. Eminence, in the course of a career, in some field of scholarship, in public service, or in an artistic, literary, governmental, religious, financial, or other endeavor; and
  2. have excelled in the fulfillment of their assigned roles and responsibilities, frequently exceeding expectations;
  3. demonstrate initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness in their field of work;
  4. exhibit the highest standards of professionalism, commitment, integrity, and accountability in their field of work;
  5. demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of Africa by supporting needs and professional development, and contributing significantly to the development of a positive, respectful work environment;
  6. exhibit and promote commitment to values, vision, and goals.
  7. foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration;
  8. outstanding service rendered to the individual country beyond the level
    customarily expected in the execution of the person’s duties
  9. exceptional contributions to the advancement of human well-being
