Amb. Olamuyiwa sees the NBR induction as a powerful initiative that will contribute to the growth and recognition of Nigerian music on a global scale.

Professor David, the Director-General of the Nigerian Books of Record, shared his enthusiasm for partnering with PMAN on this venture. He emphasized the NBR’s commitment to documenting and celebrating Nigerian achievements, stating that musicians are cultural ambassadors whose impact goes beyond entertainment.

Professor David expressed the importance of preserving their legacies in the Nigerian Books of Record, ensuring that their stories resonate for generations to come.

The nexus between PMAN and NBR signifies a momentous step towards celebrating the diverse talents that have enriched Nigeria’s musical landscape.

With PMAN acting as the custodian of musicians’ interests and NBR as the official repository of notable Nigerian achievements, this collaboration marks a historic stride in uniting two influential bodies dedicated to the preservation and promotion of excellence.

The induction process will be a meticulous and thoughtful endeavour, showcasing the rich diversity within the music industry.
The PMAN Lagos Chapter, in tandem with NBR, will curate a distinguished list of musicians whose artistic prowess has left an indelible mark on the nation. From pioneers who laid the foundation to contemporary trailblazers, the Hall of Fame will reflect the multi-generational impact of Nigerian musicians.

PMAN and NBR recognize the need to safeguard the stories, achievements, and innovations that have shaped Nigeria’s music landscape. This collaboration serves as a commitment to preserving and promoting the nation’s musical heritage for generations to come.

Beyond the symbolic gesture of recognition, the collaboration between PMAN and NBR is poised to act as a catalyst for the growth and development of the music industry in Nigeria. By highlighting the achievements of musicians, it fosters an environment that encourages creativity, entrepreneurship, and a sense of pride within the industry.

This collaboration not only pays homage to the musical luminaries of Nigeria but also cements the importance of recognizing and preserving the cultural wealth embedded in the nation’s music.

As the first chords of this collaboration resonate, it symbolizes a harmonious celebration of the past, present, and future of Nigerian music, echoing into eternity in the Nigerian Books of Record Hall of Fame.

The collaboration between PMAN and NBR symbolizes a union of passion and documentation, with Ara’s musical expertise and Professor David’s commitment to recording Nigerian achievements. The event is set to create an indelible mark in the cultural history of Nigeria, fostering an environment where musicians are not only celebrated during their careers but also enshrined in the annals of the Nigerian Books of Record.

The collaboration between PMAN and NBR serves as a testament to the growing recognition of the importance of preserving Nigeria’s rich musical heritage. The forthcoming event is poised to be a spectacle that not only honors musicians but also stands as a testament to the power of collaboration in shaping the cultural narrative of a nation.
