Before his election, Nwachukwu serves as the Delta State/South-South Chairman of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) as well as the Delta State/South-South Chairman of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC), where he was instrumental in implementing robust financial controls and improving leadership trails of the labour unions.
